I am 33 years old and was born and raised in La Habana, Cuba. Without knowing a word of English, I moved to Miami with my mother and brother when I was 20.  I studied at Miami Dade College and NOVA Southeastern University where I completed a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology. I then attended Ross University to study to become a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.  I completed my clinical year at the University of Tennessee and graduated with Highest Honors this past May. 

I'm in a relationship and we have 3 dogs- a rescue from St Kitts, a Yorkie, and a Corgi, which is our newest addition. I also have an African Gray parrot. I enjoy dancing, scuba diving and reading thrillers and veterinary journals.
