When she was in first grade, Dr. Rachel Mason was asked to draw a picture of what she wanted to be when she grew up, and she drew a picture of a veterinarian. To make her childhood dreams come true, Dr. Mason obtained first her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Animal Science and then her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree at Iowa State. She has been with VCA Los Banos Animal Hospital since 2005 and enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, especially internal medicine and patient care. Dr. Mason loves spending time with her pets in her spare time, horseback riding, playing pickleball, photography, and traveling.
