Julie Antonellis joins the VCA VREC team as our Technician Training Manager. She graduated in 1998 with a BS in Veterinary Technology from Quinnipiac University. She jumped into her passion as an emergency critical care technician right out of school. In 2001 she became a veterinary technician specialist in emergency and critical care. She loves the work that she has been able to do and embraces any opportunity to share her experiences with the veterinary community. 

In her new role, Julie will be helping to develop our VCA Vet Tech Academy, a pilot program for VCA where Penn Foster Veterinary Technology students will have the opportunity to complete their online education in a guided format while they gain in person training and experience.

Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and two dogs. She and her family especially love exploring and hiking at National Parks.
