Why do you choose to be an emergency veterinarian?
Emergency medicine provides me the ability to see a wide array of cases and always keeps me on my toes. It also pushes me to learn on a daily basis.

Why do you choose to practice at VCA West Coast?
From day one, the entire team has been very welcoming and helpful. There are so many specialists, which are always willing to collaborate. Plus the support staff, facility, and equipment are amazing.

Part of VCA West Coast's mission is to help advance the profession of veterinarian medicine, how do you contribute?
I contribute by always trying to learn, whether that's learning about new medications, new techniques, or generally trying to broaden my knowledge base with continuing education.

VCA West Coast has 13 core values, which one relates best to you?
Empathy – As a veterinarian, one of the largest parts of our job is working with clients. I always strive to come from a place of empathy. Every emergency visit is stressful, so understanding and recognizing the feelings of the owners is very important to me.

What do you enjoy doing outside of practicing medicine?
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy traveling, exploring the area with my partner, movies, beach days, and watching way too much reality TV.
