Born and raised in Tulsa, Dr. Caren Lawrence knew at the young age of six that she wanted to become a veterinarian.  She graduated high school from Booker T. Washington and continued her undergraduate studies in Biology at Oklahoma State University. Three years later she was accepted into the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2004. Synonymous with the term "Legend", Kim had engrained herself into Tulsa's VCA community over her past 32 years of service. Starting with the company in 1991 as a technician, she quickly moved up to become a lead technician at her hospital. In 2002, Kim was promoted to Hospital Manager, and spent several years managing various VCA hospitals throughout the Tulsa area.
