We are a full-service practice offering all aspects of veterinary care, from wellness/preventative health to critical care to surgery. Our hospital has been caring for pets in the Anchorage community for over 25 years, and our doctors have over 25 years of combined education and experience. In addition, our extremely well trained support staff complements our outstanding veterinarians.
Our team includes five veterinarians, one veterinary technician, seven veterinary assistants/technician assistants, one boarding/kennel staff and a groomer, as well as a client relations team with advanced training in customer care. Every member of our staff is truly dedicated to the health and care of your pet. We also run a boarding facility for cats and dogs, and offer dog grooming services onsite with Mary, who has been making pets beautiful for over eight years.

Dr. Tara Rees was raised in the Seattle area and received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Seattle University in 1998. In Fall of 2018, she moved back to South Central Alaska, after a decade of practicing veterinary medicine in Silverdale, WA. Tara has loved Alaska deeply, ever since she set foot in Juneau back in 1998.
