Dr. Jamie Ota has a special interest in surgery, preventive medicine and critical care.
Dr. Nicole Malecek has a special interest in acupuncture, canine rehabilitation and emergency medicine.
Dr. Hee Yoo has a special interest in acupuncture, surgery and internal medicine.
The doctors are joined by our friendly, professional staff, made up of dedicated individuals who have made it their mission to help pets live long, healthy lives. To be true to this mission, the hospital team relies on several individuals, each equally important in helping us deliver the best patient and client experience for both you and your pet.

Dr. Ota grew up in Orange County and worked at several veterinary hospitals while in high school and college. She attended UC San Diego and completed a degree in Psychology with minors in Biology and Spanish Literature.
Dr. Ota received her veterinary degree from UC Davis in 2009 and then completed a small animal rotating internship at Pet Care Veterinary Hospital in Santa Rosa. She started with VCA in 2010 and joined VCA Arroyo Animal Hospital in July 2013. Her professional interests include surgery, critical care and preventative medicine.
