We are proud to provide excellent service to the Indian Wells Valley located in the Southern Sierra Nevada Mountains. Whether you are coming from Ridgecrest, Johannesburg, Inyokern, Randsburg, Trona, California City, Weldon or Onyx, your pet's health is our first priority. Everyone on our staff believes that the better we get to know your pets, the better we can provide the best possible health care for them. In fact, when you come in, you'll see exactly why our veterinarians are praised for their kind and thorough care. We'll give you and your pet all the time you need, and never rush through an exam. We also offer wellness plans with an affordable monthly payment. In addition, we offer Rattlesnake Aversion Training since we do encounter rattlesnakes in our area. We'll also carefully track the course of your pet's care, which is so important to your pet's long-term health.

In every case, you'll be served by experienced, knowledgeable members of our staff. Our veterinarians, Dr. Decker and Dr. Horn, veterinary technicians, assistants, and other pet-friendly personnel are trained to the highest standards. Their knowledge of the latest veterinary medicines and procedures ensures that all our pet patients get the best in prevention and healing methods.

Local Medical Issues

There are numerous local medical issues that can impact your pet's health and that require your attention over the entire year. Contrary to what you'd expect, allergies are a year-round issue. Many pets suffer from skin and ear allergies, the signs of which include scratching, redness in the ears, and "scaly" skin. We also have some seasonal problems with our high temperatures and heat-related issues. Another medical concern is the occasional snake bite. For any of these, or any other medical issue, please come in or give us a call to schedule an appointment.
