Mandy Berscheit, Manager

Mandy Berscheit has been an employee since 2002 and leading the facility’s team since 2005.  She strives consistently to create an environment for staff to excel both personally and professionally.  Mandy grew up in Shelbyville, KY with dreams of becoming an interior designer.  She currently resides in Lexington with her partner (Nick), daughters (Audrey - 13, Emma - 10, and Harper - 1), 18 year old cat (Tux), 2 year old cat (Maddie), and 11 year old dog (Freddie) that she adopted in 2019.  If Mandy has to single out favorite breeds, they would be Labrador Retrievers and Setters of any kind.  Mandy says the best part of this job is that she gets to be like a grandparent to each pet that comes to stay.  “Love and spoil them day in and day out while their parents are gone, then send them back home to get more love.  IT IS THE BEST!”
