Dr. Annella Stanford earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University's College of Veterinary Medicine. She also attended Texas A&M University in College Station for her undergraduate studies, earning a degree in animal science with a minor in business administration.
Dr. Stanford brings experience in small animal general practice, urgent care, and emergency medicine to her role as medical director at VCA Urgent Care. Her professional interests include critical care, diagnostic imaging, surgery, and providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets and their families.
Dr. Stanford enjoys helping pet owners understand their pets' medical needs and working together to develop individualized treatment plans. She is passionate about making veterinary visits a positive experience for both patients and their families.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Stanford enjoys traveling, exploring new places, spending time outdoors, and pursuing her interests in languages, painting, and learning to play the piano. She shares her home with Easy, her 14-year-old border collie, and Juliet, her 10-year-old cat.
