Dr. Joe Wong is a dedicated veterinarian who joined VCA in 2024, bringing with him prior experience within the VCA network. Dr. Wong is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to his patients.
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Dr. Wong enjoys working with a wide variety of cases and finds fulfillment in both performing medical procedures and strengthening the human-animal bond. His well-rounded clinical experience allows him to approach each case with skill, curiosity, and empathy.
Dr. Wong completed a rotating internship at VCA West Los Angeles, where he further developed his clinical expertise. His professional interests include radiology and cardiology, and he continues to pursue growth in these areas.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Wong enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. His hobbies include working out, cooking, skiing, and hiking. At home, he shares his life with two cats, Pepe, an orange tabby, and Ellie, a sassy tabby.
