Lisa Wagner is a dedicated veterinary assistant who has been part of the VCA team since October 2018. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Biological Sciences and brings both knowledge and compassion to her role in patient care.
Originally from Arizona, Lisa has a deep love for animals that extends beyond the clinic. She shares her home with five dogs—Pixel, Mae, Hazel, Teva, and Dax—giving her firsthand experience in caring for multiple pets and understanding the needs of pet owners.
Lisa is passionate about helping animals feel safe and comfortable during their visits and has a special interest in fear-free handling techniques. She finds the most fulfillment in seeing pets recover and improve, as well as working alongside her supportive team.
Outside of work, Lisa enjoys spending time with her dogs, photography, playing video games, and being with her family. She also values giving back through volunteering, reflecting her caring nature both in and out of the hospital.
