Saamantha Tremper is a veterinary assistant who joined VCA in September 2025. She is passionate about helping animals feel comfortable and cared for, bringing a compassionate and attentive approach to her work each day.
Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Saamantha developed a love for animals early on. She is a proud pet owner of five cats—Lt. Ketchup, Ghost, Lilly, Smitten and Luna—giving her plenty of firsthand experience in feline care and behavior.
Saamantha is Fear Free Certified (2024), reflecting her commitment to reducing stress and anxiety for pets during their veterinary visits. She takes pride in helping animals feel better and ensuring they have a positive experience at the hospital.
Outside of work, Saamantha enjoys fishing, playing Xbox, collecting Pokémon cards, and spending time driving and exploring. Her hobbies highlight her fun, adventurous spirit and love for both relaxation and activity.
