Malia Chavez is a care concierge who joined VCA in August 2025. She is passionate about creating a welcoming and supportive experience for both clients and their pets, bringing a positive attitude and strong communication skills to her role.
Originally from Chandler, Arizona, Malia has a deep love for animals and enjoys building connections with the people who care for them. She shares her home with her dog, Leda, a 9-year-old mixed breed adopted from the Maricopa County Shelter, reflecting her commitment to animal welfare and rescue.
Outside of work, Malia enjoys playing video games, exploring the outdoors, reading, and cooking. Her interests highlight her curiosity, creativity, and appreciation for both relaxation and adventure.
Malia especially enjoys interacting with clients and helping care for the animals she encounters each day. She is interested in continuing to grow within the veterinary and medical field and is working toward furthering her knowledge and skills. She has also completed certifications in pet care, as well as CPR and First Aid.
