Dr. Damion Walters is an emergency veterinarian who brings a collaborative spirit to our team. He completed his undergraduate studies at California Polytechnic University, Pomona, before going on to earn his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015.
An active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Dr. Walters has a strong professional interest in emergency medicine, with a particular focus on complex wound repair and the management of acute cardiac disease. For Dr. Walters, the most rewarding part of emergency medicine is the deep trust and collaborative bonds built with fellow doctors and support staff. He also has an appreciation for collaborating closely with nearby specialists and staying on the cutting edge of veterinary medicine. To Dr. Walters, nothing compares to the incredible feeling of helping a critically ill patient walk out of the hospital doors back into the arms of their family.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Walters stays active by working out and traveling. He also loves exploring the local culinary scene, trying new restaurants, and enjoys keeping up-to-date on the latest tech products and gadgets.
