Raised in the Willamette Valley, Kyle has over 30 years of management experience in the veterinary industry. Concurrently, he is the Executive Director for an association of equine practitioners, contributes to several national veterinary management magazines, and has his own consulting business teaching veterinary dental radiology and helping others improve their management skills. In early 2023 he wrapped up 10 years as a City Councilor and 6 years as Mayor of Silverton.

Currently, Kyle is assigned as the Hospital Administrator for both VCA Salem Animal Hospital and VCA River Road Animal Hospital and is also filling in as the interim Hospital Manager at both locations.

He and his wife, Julie, have raised two adult children and are proud grandparents to a 7 and 5 year old. They currently share their household with an absolutely crazy Jack Russell Terrier named Pyper.
