Rachel joined the VCA River Road team following 13 years at VCA Keizer Veterinary Hospital that predated the hospital joining the VCA family. She had served as a technician lead, and ultimately the VCA Keizer hospital manager prior to becoming licensed as a certified veterinary technician. She serves as our technician lead and is known for her compassion for patients and helping our doctors solve medical mysteries when they arise. Rachel is also the area technician coordinator for the NW4 and NW5 regions!

She attended Oregon State University and graduated from Penn Foster College with a degree in veterinary technology. Her hobbies include hiking, camping, paddleboarding, gardening, and attending live music events. Her four-legged family members include four cats—Jasper, Sprout, Nox, and Dybbuk.
