Looking for reliable, veterinarian-supervised dog boarding in Pleasant Grove and surrounding areas of Utah County? At VCA Timpanogos Animal Hospital, we provide a secure, comfortable, and enriching environment where your dog will be treated like family. Whether you're away for a weekend or an extended trip, your pup will enjoy attentive care, personalized enrichment, and plenty of affection.

Daily Care, Comfort, and Play

Our friendly, experienced boarding assistants are on-site every day from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, providing:

  • Constant supervision and care
  • Group or one-on-one play sessions
  • Enrichment activities to engage your pup’s mind
  • Regular affection, attention, and check-ins

Between activities, dogs relax in their own indoor kennel, giving them a healthy mix of stimulation and rest.

At night, your pup will enjoy:

  • A climate-controlled indoor kennel
  • Cozy blankets for snuggling
  • A final evening potty break to help them settle in for a peaceful sleep

Small & Large Dog Play Areas

We’ve designed our play areas with safety and fun in mind—separating dogs by size, temperament, and energy level.

Small Dog Play (35 lbs and under)

Small dogs enjoy a dedicated small-dog area, including:

  • Indoor and outdoor play zones
  • Supervised, size-matched playgroups
  • Heated indoor floors in cooler months
  • Soft blankets, fresh water, and large sunny windows—perfect for naps

A doggy door connects indoor and outdoor spaces, giving your pup the freedom to play where they’re most comfortable.

Large Dog Play (Over 35 lbs)

Bigger pups enjoy a fully enclosed outdoor play yard with:

  • Room to run, explore, and socialize
  • Thoughtfully matched playgroups by energy level
  • Shallow wading pools in warmer months
  • Daily belly rubs, fetch, and positive attention

Whether your dog is high-energy or prefers to lounge, we tailor their day for comfort and fun.

Feeding & Nutrition

We feed all dogs twice daily, or based on your dog’s usual routine. We recommend bringing your dog’s regular food (no raw diets), especially for pups with:

  • Sensitive stomachs
  • Special dietary needs
  • Picky eating habits

If needed, we offer high-quality food options at no additional charge:

  • Science Diet Puppy (dry) – For dogs under 1 year
  • Hill’s Prescription i/d Low Fat (dry) – For adults/seniors or dogs prone to digestive upset

Medication & Special Needs

If your dog requires medication during their stay, we’re happy to administer it for a small additional fee. Please bring:

  • Medications in their original labeled containers
  • Clear dosing instructions

Optional Add-Ons

Want to pamper your pup a little more? Add-on grooming services are available by request:

  • Baths
  • Nail trims

Ask us about pricing and availability when booking your reservation.

Group Play

Dogs over 6 months must be spayed or neutered to join group play.

Unaltered dogs will still enjoy:

  • Individual play sessions
  • Personalized enrichment activities
  • One-on-one attention from our staff

Yes. Puppies and senior dogs are welcome, provided they meet our health and vaccination requirements:

  • Puppies under 6 months can participate in playgroups even if not spayed or neutered.
  • However, if a puppy has not completed their full vaccine series at least 2 weeks prior to boarding, alternate arrangements are strongly advised. Puppies with incomplete vaccine series are more vulnerable to illness in boarding environments.
  • If you choose to board an under-vaccinated puppy, you acknowledge and accept all associated risks, and VCA Timpanogos Animal Hospital and its staff will not be held liable if the puppy becomes ill.
  • Senior dogs may require extra care. Please let us know about any health concerns so we can make accommodations.
