Ken is a human board-certified and licensed Radiologic Technologist in both Radiography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). He is cross-trained and specializes in Veterinary MRI and diagnostic imaging. He earned his degree in Radiologic Science at Winthrop University Hospital on Long Island in 1999, where he received the highest honors in clinical practice. After graduation, Ken spent several years working at outpatient clinics and hospitals in New York City and throughout Connecticut.
He earned his advanced board certification in MRI in 2002. Ken was the MRI Director at Companion MRI located at Veterinary Specialists of CT since its inception in 2008. He spent many years on the MRI/Radiology staff at Connecticut Children's Medical Center as well as University of Connecticut Health Center and also teaches veterinary MRI to veterinarians, specialists, and technicians throughout the United States. With Ken's extensive background in diagnostic imaging, he has been instrumental expanding the use of Veterinary MRI to address not only neurological concerns but also orthopedic, chest, abdominal, pelvic, and vascular problems.
