Maria has been a part of the VCA Veterinary Specialists of CT team since 1996 after receiving her bachelor's degree in biology from Eastern Connecticut State University. Throughout the years as a veterinary nurse, Maria has acquired strong interests in imaging, ultrasound, internal medicine and various endoscopic procedures. She particularly enjoys her time working with clients to ensure that they have the best possible bond/relationship with their pets.
When not at the hospital, Maria enjoys unwinding by entertaining friends with dinner or relaxing in her yard bird watching. She shares her home with two kitties, Ms. Myrtle and Molly, as well as two senior dogs, Chloe and Scotty. If she is not at home cooking or out in the yard, she can often be found at the barn or out on the trail with her pony, Mardi.
Maria has been a part of tremendous growth over her 25 years at Veterinary Specialists of CT. She looks forward to seeing all that is in store for VCA Veterinary Specialists in the years to come.
