Tabitha Gionfriddo
Veterinarian VMD
Dr. Gionfriddo grew up in Provincetown, MA, working on whale watch boats alongside her father, the captain. She has always had a love for animals. She received her Bachelor of Science in Pathobiology and Animal Science with a minor in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut in 2011 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in 2015. She spent time during the summers of undergraduate and veterinary school traveling and volunteering abroad in countries such as South Africa, Botswana, Thailand, Belize, and Haiti. She completed a 1-year rotating emergency and specialty internship at VCA South Shore Animal Hospital in South Weymouth, MA. She worked as an emergency veterinarian in western MA before coming to VCA Veterinary Specialists of CT. Her special interests include emergency medicine and surgery. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, playing piano, and spending time with her husband, their daughter, their three cats, and her family and friends.
