Dr. Kozak attended veterinary school in Tennessee at Lincoln Memorial University. She started working as a veterinary assistant during her undergraduate career, and continued working in a variety of veterinary hospitals while she obtained her master's and doctorate degrees. During that time, she became interested in emergency medicine. She completed a clinical rotation at VCA MECA in 2023, during her final year of veterinary school, and joined the team as a full time staff veterinarian in 2024.
Dr. Kozak loves that every day is different in emergency medicine, and enjoys working with a team that is as passionate as she is about caring for animals. She looks forward to continuing growing her skills as she continues in veterinary career.
Dr. Kozak grew up in southeast Wisconsin and was happy to return to the area after completing vet school. Outside of work Dr. Kozak loves to read, often accompanied by her cat. She also enjoys gaming and spending time with family now that she is living back in state.
