Dr. Lynch graduated from Berry College in 2018 with a major in Animal Sciences and minors in Studio Art and Chemistry. While at Berry, she was a member of the women's basketball program and served as a team captain, experiences that helped shape her leadership skills, discipline, and ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. She went on to attend Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts and Nevis, and completed her clinical training in 2023 at UCD in Dublin, Ireland, where she also had the opportunity to connect with extended family. This international training experience broadened her perspective on veterinary medicine and collaboration across diverse settings. She joined the VCA MECA team in 2024.
Growing up, Dr. Lynch was surrounded by a wide variety of animals, which fostered her lifelong passion for veterinary care. Currently, she shares her home with three cats: Paisley, Boose, and Spud. Dr. Lynch's professional interests center around emergency medicine, where she enjoys the variety of cases, critical thinking, and the opportunity to help our sick pets get better. She has a strong interest in soft tissue surgery and ultrasound; however, she is continually working to expand all her skills in veterinary medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Lynch enjoys trying new hobbies and spending time outdoors. Her interests include scuba diving, traveling, creating art, attending live music events, exploring new foods, and embracing a well-earned lazy day!
