Samantha began her veterinary career at VCA MECA in 2014 as a receptionist. She completed the veterinary technician program at Milwaukee Career College in 2015 and became a CVT shortly after, and is now the technician supervisor. Samantha was attracted to the veterinary field because she always enjoyed helping animals, and as a child, grew up fostering and caring for a variety of pets with her family. Her favorite aspects of working in emergency medicine are the challenging cases, the many skills she has learned, and helping the animals that truly need it most. She also enjoys educating newer staff and helping them develop their skills. She has two dachshunds named Bailey and Oliver, a Boston terrier named Herman, and a schnauzer/pit bull mix named Alita.
