We require the following vaccines for dogs staying at our facility:
VCA Mountainview Pet Lodge provides cots and bedding (unless your pet is a chewer) for your convenience. Please be aware that we do not accept any personal bedding or toys.
Royal Canin Gastrointestinal diet for dogs is always on our menu, but we are happy to serve your pets’ favorite meal from home with the exception of raw diets.
If your pet becomes ill or his/her condition requires medical/grooming attention, VCA Mountainview may engage the services of a veterinarian, administer medication or give other required attention to the pet deemed necessary by the staff veterinarian. If needed, VCA Mountainview will transfer your pet to a 24-hour care facility immediately, where you will be responsible for all charges incurred.
In order to board at our facility, you pet must have not been exposed to rabies, parvo, leptospirosis, bordetella, distemper canine influenza or infectious tracheobronchitis within thirty days prior to boarding.
We are not a medical boarding facility. There will not be any medical staff on site Sundays or holidays. Additionally, we do not have overnight staff. We will only administer oral medications. All medications must be in the original containers or packaging in order for us to accept them. We do have health requirements for boarding including, but not limited to, no dogs who have seizures, no diabetic dogs, and dogs cannot be positive for giardia. All dogs must be cleared to board from either one of our veterinarians on staff, or their primary veterinarian.
The only time you will not be charged for the day of departure will be if you pick up your pet before 12:00 pm. Additionally, you will be charged the last day of boarding if your dog is getting groomed and isn’t ready before noon.
Please note that we do require a $75.00 deposit for all holidays. This is refundable if you cancel your stay up to two weeks prior to your arrival date. If you cancel after that two week mark, the deposit in nonrefundable. All deposits will be used towards your stay.
