Just like humans, pets are vulnerable to ear infections caused by many factors in their environments. Animals with floppy ears are especially susceptible to infection as water or moisture can become trapped in the ear canal, causing bacteria to grow. Ear infections can worsen quickly, so it’s important for your pet to be evaluated and treated by a skilled veterinarian as soon as you notice the onset of symptoms.
