Our Emergency and Critical Care service is experiencing an unprecedented caseload, which is resulting in significant wait times. Critical pets will be prioritized.

Megan started her career as a veterinary technician while working with service dogs when she was serving in the Army and stationed in Germany. It was then that she knew she was hooked on veterinary medicine! Over the next fourteen years her career as a veterinary technician evolved from working as a general practice technician, to an emergency department technician and currently working as our animal physical rehabilitation technician. You may also catch her working at the specialty department client service desk. Megan has recently completed her bachelor's degree in Health Sciences!

The more Megan worked with animals, the more her interest in animal rehabilitation & physical therapy increased. She loves being a part of each animal's road to post surgical recovery, physical limitations or weight loss success, and helping them live a more mobile and pain free life. Seeing the smile on the owners' faces when their pet's positive physical rehabilitation program is a very satisfying part of her job.
When Megan isn't working or studying, she loves to travel!  She has lived in Alaska and Germany. While living in Germany she enjoyed being able to experience a different part of the world and immerse herself in a whole different culture. Megan believes we should always continue to gain experience and learn new things. She currently owns three cats, who technically own her as we all know that cats have staff not owners!
