After being discharged from the Navy in 2023, Bethany developed a strong interest in veterinary medicine, inspired by her travels and a growing passion for animal welfare. She attended Pima Medical Institute in San Antonio, Texas, where she earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Veterinary Technology in 2025. She began her veterinary career in 2023, volunteering at a farm animal emergency clinic in Washington, where her passion for emergency medicine was sparked. She started working for VCA at a hospital in San Antonio in 2024 and joined the VCA MECA team when she moved to Milwaukee in 2025.
Bethany has two cats, Mojito and Cookie, and a pit bull mix named Kali. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking with her dog, working out, and exploring the outdoors.
