Cheyenne Shaffer received her DVM from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021 after completing bachelor's degrees at James Madison University and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Though she grew up in rural western Pennsylvania, she fell in love with Ithaca during veterinary school and was thrilled to find a home at VCA Colonial Animal Hospital after graduation. She lives with her partner and three lovely cats, and in her free time, she enjoys reading and writing fiction, playing games of all types, and spending time outdoors.
