Dr. Ally Butler is a graduate of Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. During veterinary school, Dr. Butler worked as a veterinary assistant for the surgery and emergency teams at VCA Colonial Animal Hospital and is excited to return to our hospital as a veterinarian. Dr. Butler completed her undergraduate education at the University of Georgia, before returning to Ithaca New York, just a couple hours away from where she grew up. Her professional interests lie in soft tissue and emergency surgery and emergency medicine.

Dr. Butler and her fiancé live with their two Australian shepherds, Remy and Rose, German shepherd puppy, Maple, and Cricket and Bug, their two cats. In her spare time, Dr. Butler enjoys crafting, hiking with the dogs, and escaping New York winters for long weekends at the beach.
