Dr. Armas is a graduate of St. George's School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at the University of Florida in 2022. Her professional interests lie in Emergency Medicine with a special interest in cardiology. Before embarking to vet school, Dr. Armas completed her bachelor's degree at the University of South Florida while working as a veterinary technician in primary care, shelter medicine, and working in undergraduate research. During that time, she traveled throughout the United States, the Caribbean, and Central America. Having always had a love for animals, it was a natural decision to pursue veterinary medicine while also pursing her love for travel in Grenada. 

Dr. Armas enjoys a multitude of sports and outdoor activities with her mini-aussie, Dela, and is also an avid musician in her free time. Even though Dr. Armas is a Miami native and a true southern girl, she fell in love with seasons and winter sports during her travels and is excited to enjoy everything Ithaca and Upstate NY has to offer.
