Dr. Deana Sin was born and raised in Kaimuki. She went to the mainland for school at the University of Pennsylvania where she earned a B.S.E. in Bioengineering and a V.M.D in mixed animal veterinary medicine. After finishing her veterinary degree, she went on to complete a rotating internship at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital and a specialty surgical internship at the Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center prior to moving home to Hawaii. In 2017, she joined VCA Family & Oahu Veterinary Specialty Center's Emergency Department.
Dr. Sin's professional interests are Surgery and Emergency and Critical Care. When not working, Dr. Sin is excited to be home in Hawaii with her two cats, Chance and Shammy, and French Bulldog, Jamie. She enjoys cooking, days at the beach, rock climbing, and traveling.
