Dr. Whitney Sia (born and raised Honolulu on O'ahu) graduated from Willamette University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Minor in Chemistry. She continued her education at Oregon State University Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine, where she received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Mixed Animal Track. Upon graduation, Dr. Sia joined our team at VCA Family & Oahu Veterinary Specialty Center for a rotating internship.
Her professional interests include: All aspects of small animal medicine with special interest in emergency, soft tissue surgery, and cardiology.
Her pet family consists of a sweet Australian Shepherd named Maya and two adorable cats; Cheeto (an orange tabby) and Melvin (a domestic shorthair).
Outside of work, she enjoys large animal husbandry, farm work, being in the ocean (surfing and diving), and going to the gym.
