Amy received her bachelors degree from Colorado State University. She received her AAS degree from Bel-Rea Institute of Technology. She was hired at VCA Alameda East upon the completion of her internship. She has worked there in various positions including Technician Manager and Supervisor of various departments. She has 28 years of experience working in the veterinary field.  

Amy is a licensed judge for the American Kennel Club. She judges the Hound and Non-Sporting Groups. She has bred and shown top ranked Borzoi for over 35 years.
