When Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is performed on a patient, a magnetic field is applied to the body to align particles within the tissues. The magnetic field is interrupted and the coils monitor the particles return to their nature alignment. This modality is ideal for evaluating tissues with various amounts of hydrogen, particularly water content. MRI is commonly used to examine the brain, spinal cord, spinal canal, muscles and soft tissues of the abdomen.

Diagnostic Imaging

Our patients can't tell us where it hurts. We bring together the advanced imaging capabilities of our MRI and CT scanners, digital radiography, and ultrasound with the skills of a full-time, board-certified radiologist to generate the precise diagnostics that lead to superior treatment.

  • Advanced imaging capabilities with both MRI and CT scanners on-site. No other hospital in the region has both.
  • Non-invasive diagnostics
  • Ultrasound-guided needle biopsies
  • Three-dimensional MRI and CT reconstruction
  • Many advanced imagery modalities
