Why did you choose to become a veterinary surgeon?
I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a veterinarian. Having an active childhood, I had numerous musculoskeletal injuries that sparked my interest in surgery and physical therapy. Becoming a veterinary surgeon was the perfect way to combine my passions. I love being able to care for animals by fixing their injuries, removing tumors, and providing life-saving treatments.
Why do you choose to practice at VCA West Coast?
This hospital is filled with dedicated doctors and staff who truly have the patients' best interests at heart. We are able to work as a team to provide high quality care to our patients and their families.
VCA West Coast has core values, which one relates best to you?
What do you enjoy doing outside of practicing medicine?
I love going to the beach, and I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and two dogs, Charlotte and Marcella.
