Why do you choose to be an emergency veterinarian?
I love being able to treat immediate problems and stabilize the patient for further work up. I enjoy the adrenaline and excitement of not knowing what is going to come through the doors!

Why do you choose to work at VCA West Coast?
The facility is beautiful and there are so many specialists that are willing to help out!

Part of VCA West Coast's mission is to help advance the profession of veterinarian medicine, how do you contribute?
My goal is to always provide the best medicine possible, this includes keeping up with journals and learning from specialists.

VCA West Coast has core values, which one relates best to you? (Teamwork, Integrity, Compassion, Respect, Accountability, Passion, Initiative, Kindness, Gratitude, Efficiency, Teaching, Empathy, Reliability
Compassion is my strongest suit! However, I would also say that teamwork, respect, passion, kindness, gratitude, teaching and empathy would be the other ones! It's hard to just choose one.

What do you enjoy doing outside of being a veterinarian?
Helping those without a voice. You are able to see the joy and excitement in the animal's eyes without them even being able to say anything!
