Dr. Sara Cady is originally from the Bay Area in Northern California and went to Colorado State University for undergraduate studies, graduating with two bachelor's degrees in Zoology and Business Administration in 2014. She returned to Colorado State University for her master's in biomedical science from 2016-2017. She attended Colorado State University Veterinary school and received her DVM in 2021. After graduation, Dr. Cady did a 1-year small animal rotating internship at VCA Aurora Animal Hospital in Aurora, IL. During her internship, Dr. Cady found a passion for emergency medicine and continued as an emergency veterinarian after internship at VCA Aurora Animal Hospital. After two years in Illinois, Dr. Cady missed the Rocky Mountains and moved back to Colorado.
Dr. Cady's has a professional interest in emergency/critical care medicine and theriogenology. Outside of work, Dr. Cady enjoys spending time with her friends and two Australian shepherds (Maverick and Flynn Rider). Her hobbies/interest include reading, snowboarding, playing sports (hockey, basketball, volleyball), Disney, Harry Potter and exploring the outdoors with her pups and friends. Dr. Cady is excited to be back in the beautiful state of Colorado.
