Dr. Katherine Hebert grew up in the suburbs of Boston. She always wanted to go into medicine, but unlike her mother who is a pediatrician, her passion lay with caring for the four-legged members of the family. She received her undergraduate degree in Animal Science at the University of Connecticut (Go Huskies!). Katherine then chose to follow her dream of becoming a doctor at Colorado State University where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
She has enjoyed living in Colorado spending all her free time outdoors hiking and skiing. Her favorite animals to treat are exotics, including small mammals, birds and reptiles. She also works as the secondary vet for the local aquarium. She has quite the petting zoo at home including a dog, a cat, two rabbits and a bearded dragon.
