Dr. Kearney became a licensed veterinary technician from SUNY Delhi, worked for approximately 10 years as a technician while completing a BS in biology from Binghamton University in New York. She then decided to apply to veterinary school while she was living in Texas. She attended Texas A&M University. She finished a small animal rotating medicine and surgical internship as well as a specialty internship in internal medicine at VCA Alameda East, and then completed a residency in internal medicine at Colorado State University.
Her interests include endocrinology (specifically feline hyperthyroidism, canine hypothyroidism, and both canine and feline diabetes mellitus). She also really enjoys feline medicine and fear free handling is very important to her practice.
