Dr. Deitschel is a board certified critical care specialist. She completed her undergraduate degree at Augustana College. She attended veterinary school at the University of Illinois. This was followed by a one year small animal rotating internship in San Diego, CA. Her internship was followed by a 3-year residency in Emergency and Critical Care at the University of Missouri. During her residency, she specialized in all facets of emergency and critical care. Dr. Deitschel’s particular areas of interest include trauma, sepsis, and respiratory emergencies.
In her spare time, Dr. Deitschel enjoys spending time with her dogs, Jersey and Crawford, and cat Howie, hiking, traveling, and is an avid Chicago Blackhawks fan.
