Dr. Annabella “Max” Palopoli believes cats receive the best care when they feel safe, respected, and understood. She takes a thoughtful, low-stress approach to medicine and prioritizes both emotional wellbeing and physical health during every visit.
Dr. Palopoli earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and PGCert in International Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University in 2021. She is both Cat Friendly and Fear Free Certified.
Her professional interests include internal medicine, senior cat care, anesthesia, and pain management, with an emphasis on individualized care rather than one-size-fits-all protocols. She was the recipient of the Early Career Veterinarian Award from the American Association of Feline Practitioners (FelineVMA) in 2023 and the Young Professional Award from International Cat Care (iCatCare) in 2024. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Palopoli enjoys reading, yoga, and spending time with her three cats, Bijou, Eru, and Peep.
