Dr. Annabella "Max" Palopoli grew up in MidCoast Maine. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Tampa and studied Evolutionary Biology at the University of Oxford. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine/PGCert International Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University in 2021. 

Dr. Palopoli is passionate about low-stress, Cat Friendly handling and is Fear Free Certified. Her professional interests include feline behavior, internal medicine, and anesthesia/analgesia. 

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Palopoli enjoys reading, yoga, and spending time with her 3 cats (Bijou, Eru, and Peep).
