A native Michigander, Dr. Beninson obtained her doctorate of veterinary medicine at Michigan State University. She then interned in Arizona before returning to Michigan where she treated turtles affected by an oil spill and worked in private small animal practice and for a zoo before beginning her residency in laboratory animal medicine at the University of Michigan. After completing her residency, she worked in NYC at Columbia University for five and a half years before coming to Boston for a job with Charles River before returning to small animal medicine with VCA Metro Cat. She is thrilled to be a member of our team and enjoying her work with cats.
