Melanie has been a Veterinary Technician since 1998, and advanced into practice management in 2008. She attended the Veterinary Technician program at Holyoke Community College in Massachusetts. She has a special interest in anesthesia/monitoring/recovery. In her spare time, she can be found spending time with her family, kayaking, fishing, camping, and is an avid backpacker with plans to complete the Appalachian Trail. She has a shaggy mixed breed dog named Banjo, who is also an avid backpacker.
