It's a pleasure to meet you! I'm Hsin-Hung Lin, a VCA Feline Medical Center associate veterinarian.
I was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and raised in Lafayette, CA. During childhood, I had many animal companions, from fish to hamsters to dogs, which kindled my desire to pursue veterinary medicine with the innate goal of preserving the human-animal bond.
I went to Mills College, where I received a BS in general biology. During my pre-veterinary years, I immersed myself in the shelter, exotic, and wildlife medicine and enjoyed many summers fostering orphaned wildlife. I obtained my DVM from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2022 before moving to Reno, NV, to join the wonderful VCA Feline Medical Center team. Currently, my professional interests include kitten wellness visits, pet weight loss plans, soft tissue surgery, and ophthalmology.
Beyond the hospital walls, I enjoy spending quality time with my loved ones. My hobbies include designing and creating hamster bin cages and ultra-light backpacking gear, and engaging in the great outdoors through snowshoeing, running, hiking, photography, and videography.
