Kailey graduated from Joliet Junior College in 2023 as a first-generation student. They have a silly orange kitty at home that they adopted from the veterinary technician program, and a pal that was recently rescued from the south-side streets!
From a young age, they were surrounded by animals and found them fascinating. When their mother rescued a sick stray kitten from a Chicago alley, though Kailey was merely a baby themself at the time, it sparked a lifelong love for cats. Kailey is passionate about fear-free handling and client education; they strive to provide a positive experience for both kitties and owners. They are excited to have the opportunity to work with exclusively feline patients and support their community.
In their free time, Kailey enjoys hanging out with friends and family (and pets!), creating art, writing, baking, watching movies and cartoons, playing games, and exploring nature and new places.
