Kendra has a Bachelor of Arts in business from Michigan State University and worked for a trade association in convention and meeting planning before making a career change in to the animal world.  She later received an Associate of Science Degree in Zookeeper Technology and began working as a Zookeeper at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs, CO.  She later changed her career again and began working as a veterinary assistant for large (farm animals) and small (companion animals) practice.  Later, she switched her focus to companion animal only practices.  Shortly thereafter, she began working at VCA Cat Hospital of Chicago in 2007 and has been growing and learning for the last 12 years.
