Larry Zahorecz

Doctor Zahorecz is of Hungarian descent and grew up primarily in southern California. He attended undergraduate school at UCLA and is a devout Bruin fan. He received his veterinary degree at the University of California Davis in 1987.

His professional interest is in small animal medicine, including some small mammals, and has 21 years of clinical experience in abdominal ultrasound and guided biopsy techniques.

Doctor Zahorecz's wife, Patty, is also a UC Davis graduate and is an equine veterinarian doing limited practice in the area. They have two daughters—one a business major at The King's College in NYC, and the other attending the University of Arizona studying neuroscience and taking all the dance classes she can. The family also includes two dogs—Pixie, a corgi, and Pufti, a boxer, as well as two horses.

Doctor Zahorecz practiced in the Los Angeles area for 20 years and was 50% owner of a practice for eight years before moving to Prescott in 2007. His other interests include mountain biking, hiking, motorcycling and snowboarding.
