Angie
Credentialed Veterinary Technician LVT
Angie joined our VCA Greenbelt team in May of 2022. Although new to the VCA Greenbelt team, Angie has over 18 years of experience in animal medicine with the last 14 years focused on small animal care. Originally from the Western Slope in Colorado, Angie enjoys spending time camping, fishing, hiking, and riding and has spent most weekends in the Rocky or Wasatch mountains. Angie has volunteered with numerous rescue groups and has taken in special needs, hospice and unsocialized foster dogs to help either rehabilitate and prepare them for their new home, or offer a loving home for dogs that are in a palliative care stage of life. Angie has had a Russian Tortoise named Kat, a ferret named Hobbes, and a lion mane rabbit named Fui - all of which were either found on the way to work injured or were left at the back door of the clinic. Currently Angie has 2 cats: Zoolander (16 years old) and Leela (11 years old). Zoolander is FeLv positive and Leela only has one eye. She also has 2 dogs: Stewie (13 years old) and Piper (6 years old). All of Angie's critters were either owner surrender animals due to medical conditions/failure to thrive or "foster fails". Angie is a Fear Free Certified LVT and is also a Certified Cat Friendly Veterinary Professional.
