Midland's Premier Pet Resort - A Vacation for Your Pet
It is said "Home is where the heart is" and we put lots of heart into our first-rate, deluxe pet resort! We initially broke ground on November 8, 2005, for the 2,200 square-foot expansion of VCA Greenbelt Animal Hospital and Permian Basin Emergency. The state-of-the-art facility provides a luxurious home away from home for its canine and feline guests. All pet resort guests enjoy top quality care with individualized, pampered attention with various "hotel amenities" packages available. Whether away on business or pleasure, clients can relax knowing their special family members are enjoying their own special vacation!
VCA Greenbelt Pet Resort was built by Lee Thompson Construction, Midland, Texas. Construction was completed in May, 2006, and the Resort was ready for its first guests.
On June 24, 2006, VCA Greenbelt Pet Resort celebrated its Grand Opening! Our clients and other area residents were eager to see the luxurious canine deluxe suites with tile flooring, glass panel doors, and TVs.
The Resort offers plenty of activities for its guests! There is a large indoor playroom for canines as well as a huge outdoor play yard. Adjacent to the play yard are many individual, grassed-in runs for exercise. In addition to the suites, standard room accommodations include ultra-roomy runs with three outings a day.
Feline guests will love the multi-level condos located in a separate wing from canine guests. Condos includes separate areas for living room, perching loft and bathroom. A cat gym filled with toys and a rocking chair for cozy lap time ensures your special feline will enjoy his own vacation while you enjoy yours!
On June 21, 2006, our Pet Resort was honored by Midland's Chamber of Commerce with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Dr. McConaughey performed the ribbon cutting duties while several Greenbelt representatives and chamber members looked on. Discerning feline guests will love the multi-level condos located in a separate wing from canine guests! Guests will stretch and purr as they lounge in natural lighting and enjoy views of the outdoor aviary. If you have to be away and cannot take your companion with you, we are happy to care for them in our climate controlled boarding facilities. We have a variety of housing options to suit all types of pets and really strive to make sure they are comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you are away.

Accommodations for canine guests begin with our Standard Rooms. These are roomy boarding runs with a comfortable, raised bench in the rear of the room to provide ultimate sleeping quarters. For canine guests requesting extra indulgence, the Resort offers private suites complete with a pampered pet package! Our suite package includes a daily minimum of three exercise outings with an additional Play Time Session, a luxurious conditioning bath, and the suite's first-class accommodations: tile flooring, glass panel doors, and television.... Vaccination Requirements: As part of our admissions, we require written verification of vaccinations from a licensed veterinarian. All vaccine records must be submitted prior to your pet's reservation being made.
